Booking & Cancellation Policies
Securing an Appointment
All appointments must be secured with a $25 deposit to reserve a massage session. The remaining balance for services rendered will be due upon the completion of the session. The security deposit is to ensure therapist’s ability to recover liquidated damages in the event of client’s late cancellation or no show.
Cancellation Policy
As soon as the “Client” sets an appointment with the “Massage Therapist”, the Massage Therapist will not book other sessions during this time. In the event that the Client cancels the appointment, less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, or fails to attend the appointment on the scheduled date and time, for any reason, the Massage Therapist shall suffer financial loss. As such, Client agrees that, in the event of cancellation by Client, less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the $25 deposit is paid to the Massage Therapist as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. If Client cancels appointment more than 24 hours in advance, the $25 deposit may be refunded to Client, or applied to Client’s next appointment should they choose to reschedule. In the event a late cancellation or no show occurs as the result of an emergency, a refund may be issued to Client at the Massage Therapist’s discretion.
In the unlikely event that the Massage Therapist is unable to perform the service due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of the Massage Therapist, the Massage Therapist will make every effort to secure a replacement. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.
